Help...

Friday night I'm invited to a boy's house and I'm supposed to bring a snack/appetizer.
THIS IS SERIOUS!

About the event:
He's referred to the event as a "hang out" and a "get together" but not a "date."
There will be 6 people, 3 boys and 3 girls.

About the boy:
I'm interested
He's funny
He's smart
He's musical
He's good looking
He's single (relax, its not your husband)

About how you can help:

I need a recipe that says: "Yes, I can cook yummy things and therefore I'm worth marrying."
I need a recipe that says: "This didn't take all day to make cause and therefore I'm not desperate."
I need a recipe that doesn't take a lot of time cause really I don't have a lot of that.

I really like Macy's sour cream chicken on quesadillas! All you do is dump four chicken breasts and a smaller jar of salsa into a crockpot on low for four hours. For the last hour, add a regular size container of sour cream (if you want actual measurements, Macy, can you help?). Shred it all up, put it with cheese between two tortillas, grill on each side and cut into fourths...you have chicken quesadillas that are very delicious. And very easy. Good luck on Friday.

I would go to Costco and get the artichoke dip with some chips, bread or even pita chips to dip. It is so good

Paulette's idea is easier.

You should bring Mom's teriyaki wieners. They are always a hit at parties!

Sorry I haven't posted until now. Like I thought, it wasn't really a date but it was a small little party. It ended up being the boy and another boy and me. Both boys are good looking and funny and smart. It was four hours of fun. My friend the next day called me a man hog because I didn't invite her. Duh!

Oh the food? Both boys ate it all up - I followed Paulette's idea and did the costco artichoke and spinach dip. Next time I'll try the teriyaki wieners.
