Chocolate Chip Cookies

Had these at a party the other night and made them a couple days later.  Best I've found.  And no Crisco.  Only one pound of butter.  Don't worry about it; let's enjoy our lives.

Chocolate Chip Cookies

Cream Well:

1 lb. butter
2 c. brown sugar
1 ½ c. white sugar


3 eggs
2 T vanilla
Cream for 6 minutes


6 c. flour
1 ½ t. salt
1 ½ T. soda

Blend mixture slowly and thoroughly


2 c. chocolate chips (Ghirardelli semi-sweet)

Bake at 325 for 10 minutes.
